Flying Fantastic take yoga Hen parties to new heights, literally!

Flying Fantastic specialise in getting Hen's flying. Metaphorically unclipping their wings and taking their pre-wedding celebrations to the next level.

We have a number of packages available, and can tailor a session around your group's specific requirements. One of our most popular experiences being Aerial Yoga.

Whats the purpose of Aerial Yoga I hear you ask? It draws from the alignment and techniques of yoga, using a low hanging, wide Aerial Sling to aid in moving through traditional yoga postures. By supporting your body weight on the Aerial Sling, it helps to access these postures and deep stretches in a more relaxed way.

No yoga or silk experience? – No problem. Getting newbies in the air is all in a day's work for us. As with all our private bookings, we tailor the party around your specific requirements and guests abilities. Given we specialise in catering for students of all levels in all our normal classes, it means that pretty much all our aerial activities are possible. Whatever takes your fancy.

We also ensure there is enough activity to keep everyone busy – from the bridesmaids to the grandmother of the bride.

Needless to say, we'll happily guide you and help create the perfect day.

Q Is it safe?

With proper equipment, training and supervision, Aerial Arts are as safe as any other recreational sport or rigorous physical activity you may engage in. (Needless to say, we have crash mats beneath all apparatus just in case!)

Q What should I wear?

Try to avoid loose fitting clothing. Cover your arms, you knees and your midriff. Cotton fabrics are more compatible with silks than shiny lycra. Jewellery and watches need to be taken off and long hair should be tied back to avoid getting tangled on the equipment. Aerial fitness is also generally done in bare feet as this gives you the best grip.

Q What if I'm not good with heights?

There's no hiding from it – Aerial work does involve doing some activity in the air... but how high you go is entirely up to you. You'll have a chance to acclimatise yourself before doing anything at height. A common outcome of Aerial training is gained confidence working at height.
